Ah, good that you remind me, I need to update the wiki for that. Probably tomorrow.

Wow. Manyullyn bees have a 16% chance for a nugget? Seems pretty high. With the fastest production trait, you should only need 2 frames for a guaranteed nugget per cycle.
 
They're pretty easy to breed, too, but then again those metals aren't used for much else other than maintaining your tools, unlike every other metal in the game.
I guess they're balanced enough.

True, but remember that easy access to repair materials means you don't need the electric or self-repair upgrades, meaning you can use an upgrade slot for other stuff.

if i remember right, the cost of each repair increases. if that`s true electric and moss have their advantage in a long run.
 
Also remember that you need a full block of each relevant metal underneath the apiary to breed the relevant bee--so it at least requires a few dedicated trips to the Nether just for that. ;)

Personally, I'm a little more excited for the aluminum bees--I'm always running out of Aluminum, and I've been wanting to use Alumite as decoration since I first saw the stuff. :)
