Alright, I'm playing FTB Monster and just recently got into Advanced Genetics. I notice the Ender Dragon has a gene that I wouldn't mind using, but I killed him (her?) ages ago.

So, the question that has lasted the ages on this forum: how can I go about respawning the Ender Dragon?

I know the BOP Sacrificial Altar method has been removed, I was wondering if there was a different method I haven't heard about.

Worst comes to worst, I'll just reset my End dimension, but I'm curious to see if a more engaging way exists.
 
I know you respawn the enderdragon with hardcore ender expansion, but thats not in monster.

I wouldn't recommend it though, it would really screw up your world, and just for the ability to be healed within 20 blocks the Heal Crystal.
Even if you did proceed to do this, you would have to scrape Skin Scales off of the Ender Dragon! :P

Well I do want to try a more hardcore mob experience with boss fights, so it serves two purposes for me. I think I'll start by just resetting the End, scrape off the vanilla dragon, and reset again with the mod.

Edit: with a backup save, just in case ;)

It wouldn't screw up the world as long as it gets deleted before installing. HEE doesn't do anything to the overworld or nether, so even if it was messed up, it'd only be the end.

It's a fun task if you're up to it ;) (a AM2 heal spell definitely helps). I gotten near a full double chest before I went and killed her.
 
Why would you install another mod to respawn the ender dragon? IIRC you just have to delete the end and *BAM* new ender dragon.. Am I wrong?

I'm in full upgraded Ichorcloth armor from TT KAMI, and each piece has Protection IV, I pretty much never take damage anymore so I'm not worried. :P That's actually a big part of why I wouldn't mind HEE, if only to make things more interesting.
