I found some random dynamite sticks from IC2 while caving. Someone on Reddit told me that he encountered this too, but he found empty chests and dragon eggs everywhere. Here I found a bunch of IC2 machines and whatnot. It all seems to be located in a single chunk. They look like they are generating like ore would. this has to be a bug right? Anyways I spent a few hours mining out the chunk.

Use these coords instead unless you want to teleport into lava:

x= 1009
y= 12
z= 330

My guess is that the id list of your world containing the id's of blocks/items how they are saved(numbers) and the name id's (thus minecraft:dirt) got messed up .
To test if this is the case make a new world and see if it has the same bug. If it does not then the above is true and not much can be done about that as it either happened by user error (by for example deleting and adding mods) or something during an update caused problems.
