Thermal Expansion "Power lines"

I've been playing around with structuralducts and fluxducts to make power lines. I don't know if anyone's tried this before, but it looks pretty neat. Now I wish structuralducts and fluxducts could exist in the same block space.

How do you think I can improve on the design?
