in the packs config folder under cofh\core\client.cfg under render
Code:
Render {
    # If TRUE, Color Blind Textures will be enabled in CoFH Mods, where applicable. [default: false]
    B:EnableColorBlindTextures=false
just set it to true

Thank you - that's great!

The gear-tab flyout boxes now show dots like the sides of a dice (die?) - is there any guide to what the different dot layouts mean?

Also, the main GUI slots still have a coloured border - i.e., as before, no dots. I found one article which shows corresponding dot patterns on GUI slots as well as on the flyout tab (my GUI slots do not show that), and another showing dot patterns 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 - i.e., incomplete, missing the 4 dot pattern. Eight patterns are needed to correspond to blue, green, purple, red, yellow, orange, colourless, and not-configured.

I see there are two other items under "Render". I'm hesitant to try changing them for fear of really messing things up - I'd be grateful for any guidance, please.

@Anton_ outta curiosity, how brutally colourblind are you?

I'm one of the more common forms: red-green. Under various circumstances I can see the difference between a red and a green, but often I cannot.

I'm asking because I'm observing your experience using the colorblind friendly mode.

I am somewhat colour blind. I can see colours fairly well if the patch occupies a large enough area on my retinas, but I have great difficulty identifying colour in small areas - I can see clearly that the lawn is green, but I can't see the red ladybug crawling on it. I can see that the Isihara plates are in colour, but I cannot see any numbers except in the first one. Colour vision experts have been unable to classify this condition.

This is really interesting, because it's almost exactly describes my condition as well. Hold a red and green card next to each other, and I can clearly tell them apart. Show me a field of green grasses with small red flowers and I'm totally lost. Same with colored leaves in autumn. I've had a hard time explaining it to both colorblind and non-colorblind people, so it's interesting to hear it from someone else.

I'm still trying to work out what dot patterns relate to what functions (and colours!).

This is as far as I've got.

The following image is taken from the Induction Smelter section of the older CoFH documentation (the new version doesn't seem to have this?).

It doesn't seem to have all of the possible variants, though.

This is what I have worked out in my game, with the config file set to show textures for the colour blind:

I'd be really grateful if anyone could fill in the blanks, or make any changes, please?

Many thanks!
