Okay, so I guess the first thing I need to do is defend myself, if for no other reason than to preserve the human/werewolf balance - keep in mind that it's not "last man standing wins" - if the next majority of players contains more werewolves than humans, they win by default.
I came out "swinging" with my role-playing because I didn't see other players doing as much talking as I thought was needed. I saw a bunch of one-line votes and thought "gee...can't do much with this" and decided that I needed to, at the very least, start up the conversation. Most of the 10 player+ games I've been in have had at least one or two wall-o-text guys. If you check my post history
beyond just this game, you'll see that posting a crazy-sized wall of text isn't out of the ordinary for me. But I digress.
I've explained all of my actions up to this point as best as I could. I don't think I've cast any votes without at least a bit of explanation, nor have I cast any votes until after it was well-established what other folks were gonna do. Because I'm the mayor, I'm the tie-breaker, and while it's not a super-strong ability, it would totally suck to have that ability activated
by accident. I've definitely played games of mafia/werewolf where a double-vote villager or a mayor or somebody cast a vote arbitrarily and ended up sealing a player's fate earlier than they'd hoped. So I admit to having been vocal, but I hope I've also been transparent and logical.
Even if I can't convince you all not to lynch me, I wanna make sure that my thoughts/notes about all the players are out there so that if humans manage to survive yet another day, maybe the werewolves still won't win (bolded names are those that are sill alive):
- dwappo - voted to lynch nobody, and then Jus2Beast.
- Not_Steve - the drunk seer - voted to lynch Jus2Beast and then killed in night two.
- Strikingwolf - the hunter - voted to lynch nobody, and then Goreae
- goreae - the bodygueard - voted to lynch Kayla Sharp, and then Jus2Beast
- Exedra - voted to lynch nobody, and then Jus2Beast
- the_j485 - voted to lynch Jus2Beast on day 2
- dgdas9 - voted to lynch Jus2Beast on day 2
- Qazplm601 - voted to lynch nobody, and then Goreae
- Kayla sharp - voted to lynch Goreae, and then Goreae
- Larmonade - Voted to lynch nobody, and then Goreae
- Jus2beast - The seer - Voted to lynch nobody, and then Kayla Sharp
Of these entries, the ones that stand out are:
Kayla Sharp: She voted for the same (jnnocent) guy two times in a row. Her reasoning was based on reading each player's posts and gather ing details that seem "off", but at the time of her explanation of such, Goreae had only made
one post that was fairly innocuous. Voting for someone twice in a row based on a single post about owning a flower shop seems suspicious.
Exedra: On day one, voted "no lynch," but on day two, voted to lynch the seer, Jus2Beast. Being simply mislead to vote for an innocent villager is understandable, but
having your name whispered at the scene of the next crime is super-duper suspicous. Just sayin'.
dgdas9: Has had several kinda complicated theories on what's going on that confused me a bit, but I guess other people believed them. In this post, where he responded to my erroneous report about Jus2Beast's Private message, he additionally said that Jus2Beast had told him that he hadn't started a conversation with me. My mistake was just basically a misreading in a moment of haste on a mobile device...but it seems strange to claim that in your correspondance with an indivisual, they specifically also said that they hadn't spoken with some other player...
Among the other players, I have yet to discern any strange patterns of behavior...but it's late at night, and I'm pretty drunk (just like Eunomiac in The_j485's story :O SUSPICIOUS). I'll check in after I get a good night's sleep and whatnot. I'm not gonna cast any votes before that.
