Title The game crashes on world load

Details of the issue The game itself launches and loads fine, but when ever I try to play my world in single player mode, the game crashes. It seems to be raining and gets about as far as showing my action bar and and saying, "Welcome to the server!" In the next instant, however, it either crashes completely then and there or jumps back to a background of dirt with the words: "Connection Lost" and "Server Closed" and then crashes. Please take a look at my error file and see if there's anything I can do to fix it.
As an aside, before this started happening, I was building a castle wall and the game suddenly crashed and shut down my computer. I haven't been able to get back into it since.
