I've not heard much by them! I've heard a little Bullet for my Valentine and Trivium; I don't know how similar they are to Avenged.

I have recently enjoyed lots of Mick Gordon's Doom soundtrack - pleasantly heavy in places, and a bit like Fear Factory I'm told (for comparison - not heard much of them either personally though!)
