Yeah, taking the mickey (sometimes phrased taking the michael or taking the piss) is a phrase to mean mocking, ridiculing etc. someone; particularly when used as "taking the mickey out of [name].

EDIT: When used as just "taking the mickey", it means more to take liberties at the expense of others, or to be unreasonable.

oh 1 tip if you ever decide to take that tea it can taste very, very different depending on how long you let the tea bag inside the water.
