I think you're both confused. There's a flower that appears naturally in certain Biomes o' Plenty biomes that gives withering to any players, if not other mobs (haven't tested), that touch it. Kind of like poison ivy, but worse. Fairly sure it's called the Death Bloom, or something similar.

While there probably is a flower in Botania that withers things, it's not what I was thinking of.

what makes you think that I am confused?

none of my posts here have anything to do with that bloom as that would be stupid because I never played with botania and thus I would be wrong about 100% of the time.
