The 10th plague: PIGS!!!!!!

So I join my server today and people have grouped together to fight a "Pig plague". Link to screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/UiScJ#1
Strangest thing I've seen on ftb, the epicenter is a friends house who is over 100-200 blocks from were the screenshots were taken. No one on the server would do this to anyone so we amuse its a crazy glitch. In the one picture you can see the edge of the point were pigs fill every air block on ground level until you reach the contaminated house.
How do i fix this problem?

There was an issue a few snapshots back with crazy pig spawns but I have not heard of it sicne then. It was a issue in minecraft itself.
