Just be aware it can travel underwater so any lakes and rivers need to be included in this process

Yes it can. Using Autoit you can auto-click on it. I have a setup where I from woodlogs is creating craftingtables thats piped into the deconstruction table. Then I start my autoit script that each 4 second click on the aspect.
Leave that running off of crafting tanles as a secondary product of a wood farm overnigt:
"Holy crap, I never have to scan anything for aspects again!*
*besides ignis

That's bypassing the limitations of the game through an outside source rather than an automatic deconstruction table. If I can't get the deconstruction table to automatically add the aspects to my aspect pool while I'm out doing other things in my world, it's not an automated system.
it could figure what what player place a hopper that's not a big deal but I think Azanor whanted people go go and scan things and use deconstruction as a little boost rather than main method.

I agree with this. I understand why the deconstruction table is the way it is, it just annoys me that I can't automate it. Sitting there clicking the aspects is one of the most boring things I can think of.

Meh, ignis is MOSTLY useless anyhow (mostly)
This is a toxic opinion, and I fear your post just gave me cancer.
Ignis is a Primal Aspect. No primal Aspect is even slightly useless. Least of which Ignis. Ignis is needed for Potentia, like @Feniks said. If you can make do without Potentia, and Precantio, Vintium, and all other parts of the Potentia chain, then good sir, you have finished TC4.1's research system already.

So I think my friend and i are going to retreat into the twilight forest until I can make a bunch of ethereal blooms, are there aura nodes there, or will i have to put some in jars and bring them from the overworld? Also, i need some of the taint aspect for the ethereal blooms, but everything that has that aspect either wont let me pick it up, or starts killing me shortly after i pick it up...

The answer to your issue is more thaumcraft research. It can affect you, yes, but it can't affect things in a chest of any kind, as a reminder...

There are nodes in Twilight forest so no worries there. As to taint things if you pick up anything with taint just put it in a bag, any bag will do. Items only affect you if their are directly in your inventory. If it is in a bag and bag is in your inventory they won't affect you.

Aha, so maybe drawing a bunch of the tainted sheep to a hungry chest then killing them?

I see, thank you, going to get some gold for my good ol' golden bag of holding! or just an enderchest/pouch... yeah... probably a better idea...

@Democretes I know you're working on ore processing right now but this would be a great feature
