Problem Thaumcraft space tear

Hi guys,

I basically have a problem with thaumcraft, i tried to get into it following some tutorials, but i ended up getting this :

I don't have any idea how to get rid of this, as I already looked up on Internet and Thaumonomicon, and have found no answer so far, I'm posting here.

Can I get rid of it ? If yes how ?

I havn't kept up on the latest versions of Thaumcraft, if I saw that in a world I'd assume some sort of Dr Who inspired / themed mod was being used. It does have a very @Azanor feel to it however.

Its caused by an excess of flux by the sounds of it, and there is apparently some sort of creative flux sponge which will eventually cause it to disappear by mopping up the high amounts of bad stuff nearby. It won't stop the tear directly though, rather it removes the root cause, if my understanding is correct.
