ok so I have a lot of silver wood trees around my base and 2 of them are on the side of my base right out side the wall that i have my crucibles up against and one of them appears to have purple sparks flashing across its leaves and I've noticed that it will occasionally shoot something like a flashing light out and i followed this once to another sillverwood tree which now has one spark flashing in the exact same spot on it. when i first got close to the first tree i mentioned the flux went high according to my goggles but it has since returned to none. but the sparks are still there. all i want to know is what the hell just happened?[DOUBLEPOST=1361536527][/DOUBLEPOST]ok i just found out that their are a lot of sillverwood trees shooting purplish flashing lights at each other and i can't find anything anywhere about this.

It's the aura node inside the silverwood tree releasing flux. every silverwood has a tiny pure node inside it, cut down the tree and plant a sapling where it was to grow the node by about 30 (on average). Pure nodes are good because they will get rid of flux on their own without spawning wisps

well i started moving nodes and some of the tree nodes got caught instead of the nodes i wanted to move... and now those pure nodes from the trees are spawning wisps along with all the other nodes i've dragged along....

It's because the pure node fused with a larger normal node. The larger node's type is the only thing considered when nodes fuse to decide what type the combined node will be. A tip would be to cut the trees down, gather the saplings, replant them away from the current node, use a hoe of growth to grow them immediately, chop down, repeat in the same spot until the combined sapling node is larger than your other node, then combine them. The resilting node will be pure and huge.
