Hey guys.
Ive been doing Thaumcraft for a couple of weeks, and gotta say I love it.
Recently Ive been trying to grow my local aura node, by moving other nodes towards it, and merging them.
I managed to grow a 250 aura node into a 1750 aura node, and moved it inside a room I made for this. Including lots of crystal clusters and crystal capacitors.
Now, it worked fine in the beginning, but Flux wouldnt decrease at all like it normally would.
It kept saying F: Dangerous, and wouldnt go down, even when the aura node charged up to full 1750/1750, it still wouldnt go down.
Also, wands and repair enchant wouldnt charge at all. And silverwood trees wouldnt grow.
I've noticed this fault/bug before, and this was also what motivated me into growing my aura node. Its like the aura node temporarily "dies" or atleast becomes 100% passive..
Anyways, I put up a crystal to move the aura node, incase that would reset it. But instead of moving it/then going offline. It just kept being online like it is when actively moving a node.
I thought maybe it acted like this because the aura node was full.. So I went offline, with the chunk loaded with chunkloader.
Then came back 3 hours later.. and to my surprise.. THe aura node is completely gone.
I tried relogging, removing chunk loader, got help from others with goggles, and nothing.. It was like this entire gigantic 1750 aura node was just deleted.
I put up a new crystal to try and attract nearby aura nodes, incase it just was graphical bug, but it went online and offline immediately, as it does when no aura node is within 24 block range.
Now, what happened?! Anyone know if this aura node just bugged completely out? Or did I accidently destroy it somehow?
The problem that motivated me towards all this aura manipulation, was that my local aura node wouldnt charge wands/repair tools with repair enchant, even though its vis levels was high enough. In addition it wouldnt grow silverwood saplings with hoe of growth, even though the vis levels was above 100.
This has happened to me before, and I had to move my entire base because of it. I thought I fixed it this time, but appearantly only temporarily.
Anyone know how to solve this problem? And in general why this keep happening to peoples aura nodes?
On beforehand thanks.
