Thaumcraft - All items (except bauble items) vanish upon death

So, whenever I get killed, and run back to the spot where I died, all my items are gone. My weapons, armor, food, everything. Everything EXCEPT the stuff that goes into the secondary inventory, the baubles stuff.

Here is a video to demonstrate my problem:

In the video, i have a decent amount of valuable stuff in my inventory. I spawn some zombies that kill me. I run back WELL within the 5-minute despawning period, and only the bauble items remained.

I tested this without any bauble items equipped, and my items did not disappear.

So has anyone else encountered this issue? Does anyone know a fix?
I have no mods other than baubles and thaumcraft installed.

I've enjoyed this mod a lot, but these (pretty serious) issues are ruining it for me. Imagine permanently losing all your items every time you die

IIRC, this was an issue in one of the older versions of Thaumcraft/Baubles. If you update both of them to their most recent versions (I'm guessing you're on 1.7.2, so make sure you don't get the 1.7.10 versions) then the issue should hopefully be fixed
