Yea, that's a config option I generally suggest gets changed. You can set the chance of taint biomes spawning naturally to 0.

TE3 is a standalone mod now. Just think it needs to be emphasised more.

Indeed, 1.6 from here on out will likely see a stagnation of MJ-interfacing code and an increase in RF-interface code, both for producers and consumers.

In other words, nobody is going to rip out their MJ APIs, but I also don't imagine many mod devs will put further work into MJ. The momentum is behind RF.
