Thaumcraft 4 - Infusion alter - Problem Solved

I'm playing Agrarian skies and I can't get the Infusion alter to assemble. I got four arcane bricks four arcane stone, a pedestal and the matrix all where they need to be. I have a full wooden iron capped wand and nothing happens when I click on it. I've even tried entering creative. It just won't assemble. I don't understand why this would be disabled. Any help would be nice.

Edit: I think I know what might be the problem. The penalties on the wand make it require more essence then it holds. I will try looking for a solution.

Edit Edit: I got it to work with the golden capped wood wand that doesn't have a vis penalty. Problem solved.

You need to upgrade your wand, at least to greatwood golden capped one and make it fully charged
