I do wish though the lasers would look a bit more magicy. Imo they are a bit too clean/cold/techy in appearance.

Yeah, maybe they can imitate how aspects are poured into infusion crafting.

Well, that's essentia, and essentia is matter. Vis, which is energy, probably wouldn't be transferred in a gaseous state. Perhaps some sort of odd changing of course. Make them semi-transparent too?
