Thaumcraft 4.2 Golemancy not working

I recently started playing FTB and got into Thaumcraft. I have been trying to make a clay golem, but it has not been working. I throw a zombie head, 4 rotten flesh, and a minecart into to boiling crucible to get the essentia I need. Then when I toss in the brick to get my golem, it doesn't work. It acts as if I'm just throwing in more essentia. Am I doing something wrong?

The minecart has Iter: You need a source of Motus for golems. (trap)doors or pistons.
