I've tried searching google many times, and can't find any straight forward answer. I have the eldritch tab unlocked in my thaumonomicon, I'm playing thaumcraft on easy mode so I just have to click to get the researches and spend aspect points for them. I went into single player and gave myself all the research on a creative world to see what the research line is like, The Eldritch Eye has something to do with void metal which is where I'm at but I don't have anything in the line after that, it's just not available to me. I want to know if anyone knows what you need to scan, research, etc. to get to the eldritch eye.

Nope, Thanks for trying but I watched that already and it's outdated, He shows what's new in it (The Void Thaumaturge Robe is what I need to unlock) but he doesn't explain what things you need to scan or research before it in order to unlock it
Look i just had to reply this answer so i created an account. I had the EXACT same problem. But i discovered that, if you have researched the void metal just get super high warp. Then you will unlock them 
Yep. I am getting quite annoyed with the level of interruption my 1/3 filled warp meter is affording me.
I still need to unlock void robes, the fortress armor and the eldritch eye research that tells me how to visit the outlands. I *could* visit the outlands right now as I understand it, but I don't want to until I have the research.
Given the current level of interruption is already on the edge of playability I don't want to commit to any additional permanent warp that I don't have to - so I need to know the requirements for these researches so I can eat a carefully callibrated batch of brains, complete them, and then take a long bath.

Well that research for primarial pearl and advanced alchemical furnace you will ONLY get by scanning eldritch eye(Or Primarial pearl(I dont remeber so one of this)). For primarial pearl you need to go to the Outlands, kill Boss(btw boss will be harder when there will be more players) and he will drop primarial pearl

Here is a command for thaumcraft 4.2 for getting warp to whatever amount you want:
/tc warp <playername> set # TEMP /tc warp <playername> set # /tc warp <playername> set # PER
/tc warp <playername> set # TEMP /tc warp <playername> set # /tc warp <playername> set # PER
This unlocks in the second teir of the eldrich tab, so you pretty much need high warp to unlock it. You ALSO need to have studied the crimision cultist's book.
