4.1 is so much better. I spent a good 12 hours working on thaumcraft 4 days ago, totally unaware of 4.1. Then the DW20 pack updated with it...

So much time wasted on the old research method!

I don't even bother with research anymore. I just spawn in a cheat sheet.

Are the larger packs still waiting on some mods to update Thaumcraft APIs to the new 4.1 API?

It is a bit tedious, at least 4.1's method is doable without constant wiki checking, and it is faster and less annoying. I still feel it should be faster and easier though.

To my knowledge, every Thaumcraft addon in the larger packs is also in the DW20 pack... So likely just DW wanting his pack to have the new Thaumcraft for his LP. Though, the version they used has a rather large bug that was fixed in the newest version. Tinkerer's Construct also has a rather large bug, which was also fixed. I manually updated them.

I'm not speaking specifically about TC addons, I'm asking about addons which use the Thaumcraft API (presumably to dictate which aspects their items and blocks are composted of, or to interact with TC4.1 blocks).

In particular, I saw someone pasting a crash related to Railcraft (not sure which version) having an outdated TC API.
