Thaumcraft 4.1 Node question/problem

Ok I'm confused. I just captured a Normal Node with 50+ Ignis and 50+ Spiritus and placed it in my Node room and it turned to Normal, Pale. Do nodes turn Pale if you capture them and place them somewhere? I know I had a Pale node in my room but now ALL of my nodes are Pale. Is this a bug or intended?
 
Nodes have iirc a 75% chance of degrading when bottled. Bright to normal. Normal to pale. Pale to fading.

The bottled node will get the new designation so you can avoid placing a node where you might want a higher quality one.

You can repair fading nodes back to pale by placing a node stabilizer under them.

Either use pale nodes or feed them to build up large bright nodes.
 
Something I think is worth touching on here; what do you have that room for? Recharging wands via the wand recharger, right? And are you using iron capped wooden wands? If so, there's your main problem, IIRC.
