Hey all, I just noticed that TC updated to 3.0.3 and I was wondering if its hard to update? Do i need to change any ids? or is it just a matter of updating the server and my client.

thanks!

One of the reasons people stick with FTB (and Tekkit) is that the modpack maintainers work to ensure that you can smoothly update the world as often as possible.

One thing I would suggest if you run a server is not to update for 3 days to a week to allow bugs to be fixed. People can wait a week. Much better than having world corruption issues, etc.

And, when you DO update, you should make a FULL backup of your entire FTB instance folder. You should also think about making world backups daily, or at least weekly. Backups save lives!

How often do you test your backups? If "never", then I suggest you test your latest backup weekly. This is another key to good backups, as having a million backups that don't work is worth less than one backup that does.
