thaumcraft 3 repair enchant

im wondering if level 30 is the best level to try and get repair 2 enchant.
anyone have any input on this?
im using books, i got a repair 1 once. but i forgot what level i used
 
You trying to get this on a Thaumium tool or on a book? I had to enchant well over 100 books with level 30 enchants before I finally got 1 Repair II book. I get Repair II on Thaumium tools quite regularly with level 30 enchants though.
 
Yep, Level 30 will be the best. Do it straight to the tool.
If you use it on books, it will take around 100 books as said above.
 
so 100 books to get a repair enchant ? really low on fire shards and my only pickaxe of the core got effinvy and unbraking no repair so got to use a book on it S:
 
It took me well over 100 books before I got a Repair enchant, I may have been into my 4th stack actually. It was Repair II which was nice. I put it on my Axe of the Stream.
 
what lvl are fire shards on ? me seem to find earth viz air and water when strip mineing for diamons but fire me cant seem to find them :(
