Granted most people now hardly ever use the standard texture pack and most people use the HD texture packs that are available in several places. Downside is that your player skin always remains the same 8x8 texture regardless of the texture pack installed.
So I came across this,

and was wondering if there would be some way to add this into the already awesome modpack we have available?
Just tested it out, dropped the zip into the mod folder, the class into minecraft.jar (te**it has modpack.jar I'm sure you guys have one I just don't know what it's called) and I have capes and HD player textures. So it seems compatible and I'm not seeing any errors in the console.
