Texture Pack Issues FTB Unleashed

As the title suggest I am having issues using a texture pack offered by the FTB Launcher, I've been trying to use the Soartex Fanver: The Soartex Team texture pack that comes under the first selection in the Texture Packs tab. I try clicking "Install Texture Pack" but nothing happens, I checked the texture packs folder in my .minecraft folder as well and no changes were made, I then wen to the FTB Unleashed mudpack itself in an attempt to edit it, it just asks me for my login information and to update the texture pack but when I click the "update" button no changes again were made. I also went to the Soartex Fanver: The Soartex Team website, added the FTB Unleashed mudpack texture pack version (2.5.2) and the game crashes after I load it. If you can help me in anyway that would be great.

the texture packs currently cant be downloaded from the launcher. you'll need to get them manually

Okay, well here is the link I went to, to get the the texture pack. http://soartex.net/downloads/

From there go all the way to the bottom and click the FTB Unleashed download link in the Modpacks section, this is what I did. I got the zip of the file put it in the texture pack folder and loaded the game, after a few minutes of waiting the game simply goes black and crashes, it couldn't even reach the main menu, so what can I do?
