Welcome to my Modpack, Technical Revocalypse!
The main Idea: A Skyblock/ RFTools based multiworld map, completly without wood. Focus lies not on the early game grind, but on some upper tier automation and understanding of normally unused machines
Lore:
The Year is 2357, and most ressources of the earth have been exhausted, other worlds have been explored. No nature is to be found, especially the last sapling burnt down in a big war. Humanity realized that they can't exist without trees, and tried artificially constructing one.
The main Control has been given to a system, which has access to all items. Everything humans want can be requested through a simple terminal, almost anything has been automated.
Now, the system collapsed, and you, Bob, a low - level engineer, step out into the world to fix the mess and repair the buildings all over the universe and finish creating the sapling.
Main worlds:
Different worlds have to be reconfigured and automized using AE, to be able to fulfill a certain job in the creation of the last item. In each one, you have a separate inventory.
The coal plant: A coal plant in the desert of a planet formerly inhabited by Withers. It fueled a Laser Drill through nether star power, and you have to rebuild the automation chain of Stars using EnderIO, PneumaticCraft and Applied Energistics. Focus on Mob Spawning.
The Dead Tree: A giant dead tree out of Livingwood in a sphere out of glass. Using nearly only Botania, you have to rework the funcionality of the destructed biosphere to create living energy, a main part of the Artificial Sapling. Focus on Botania.
The Train Station: A mining factory in the Deep Dark, used to gather a waste amount of ressources. Most of the processing occurs here, using Steve's Carts, Railcraft and Thermal Expansion. Focus on efficient Mining.
The Farm: After the dream of an idealist, a spaceship travelled into the universe, to build a fully efficient farm out of nothing in a new biosphere, fueled by all kinds of animals, like Bees, Ore Sheep, and Fluid Cows. Focus on Animal Breeding/Bees.
The core System: As the place to reconstruct the sapling at last, you have to fix the wring chaos of the AE-system. Focus on Applied Energistics 2.
The main worlds are connected by a few other showplaces, which are not fully finished yet.
Gameplay:
Without wood, the main things you don't have access to are sticks, chests and crafting tables. Sticks are Ore dictionaried with the stone rod from Tinker's Construct (2 Cobble). Chests are Ore dictionaried with Sky Stone Chests from AE2. There is no crafting table, only the Autocrafting system from AE, with a limited amount patterns available. In the end, you have to connect the minerals you produce in the worlds into the system, crafting a final product, the Artificial Sapling, to free humanity from the system.
I started this pack quite some time ago,but never came around to finish it/ask for opinions, so i'll just do it now. Everything is still WIP, so much can change after all. Attached is a Screenshot from the starting point, Bob's Office. Would you be interested in this theme? Do you have any additions/tips? Thanks for reading, much appreciated!
A modlist will be added, once i have all the permissions collected.
