Hello i have a problem regarding tech world 2
I have had this problem since it has first came out on the launcher but only now i have got the console to stay up after it crashes. i looked upon the forms and found that many people said i have to have java 7 installed, i have tried this and also downloaded many other java types but still no luck, i am very bad at programs but it might be forge mod loader, since on the console it is yellow text, ill paste the console text below, i would like to play this since so i can start a new world instead of unleashed again,

also "Unhandled exception in Thread[AWT-EventQueue-0,6,main]: java.lang.ClassCastException: javax.swing.plaf.nimbus.DerivedColor$UIResource cannot be cast to javax.swing.Painter" i only got this when i installed java 7 so not sure if this was related.

Let's start here. You're running XP 32-bit. The only "supported" FTB pack that supports 32-bit operating systems is FTB Lite. Please try running that pack to see if you get the same crash, and if so, please post the console log to pastebin.

You need to get the recent 64bit version of Java. Uninstall all versions of Java and restart you computer. Then install 7u51 64bit and restart your computer again. Yes your log says you are using Windows XP I wonder if you have the executable and are running it in compatibility mode. Also please use pastebin.com for logs. Click on the 'Paste my log to pastebin.com' button. This will add a link to the bottom of your log that you provide to us so we can see your log. Even if the button does not work or times out please copy over the log to pastebin.com manually and post the link that it provides.

Thank you for the pastebin. I had hoped that updating Java would fix this error. According to this, post by Viper-7, it might be where you have the 'Install folder...' Try changing it to either a folder named FTB on your desktop or in the C:\FTB folder as suggested in the thread. Be sure to restart the launcher to have the changes take affect. My Google searches have not turned up any other possible fix than trying a complete reinstall using the basic troubleshooting guide. You should also be able to run the other 1.6.4 packs as you have 64bit Java and can allocate more than 1.5GB now.

Thank you so much for that, i have got them to work now, both FTB lite and tech world 2.
Not sure why it would affect the mods by putting them straight to my desktop but it is now sorted thanks to you.
While this is working; looking at the console there does seem to be a large number or warnings and errors in red and yellow here is a link http://pastebin.com/Xgmy1MHT im not posting this to be fixed but rather if it is something i can leave or i should look into this further
