It seems strange to me because I always go to the latest version with the mods I like, thanks for clearing that up.In 1.5, a massive aura doesn't have much use unless you're doing something out of the ordinary or have some crazy project that's sucking it all up.
As for why someone might still be using pre-1.6 packs, I was using unleashed until just a few weeks ago. The mods are better documented on the wikis, it ran smoother on my computer, and a least for a while, a lot of bugs were still kinda being worked out of the newest packs. I don't think I'm mistaken in pointing out that there are plenty of people still playing Ultimate - using a 1.5 pack a couple of months after the first 1.6 packs started coming out isn't that crazy.
Trying to figure out a strategy that would validate the creation of crystal capacitors, etc. to increase the total aura in the area.
What kind of things do you do with the aura, that can be automated/made long term?
Well, I'm probably asking these questions because it's the first time I've ever TC3'd.It seems strange to me because I always go to the latest version with the mods I like, thanks for clearing that up.

Because it isn't 1.5.2 compatible, as was also mentioned in this thread.... Lol.I think they are asking why you are not on Thaumcraft 4 yet, which has been released some time ago.
Is there something you like about 1.5.2? I am anxiously waiting for 1.7.4 to come out.Because it isn't 1.5.2 compatible, as was also mentioned in this thread.... Lol.
I decided for namiasdf play's ftb season 2, that we would be going for Unleashed, since it is the most stable pack, with the most material to cross reference. Since I don't play on a multiplayer world, I am liable to design, project manage and engineer all my systems independently, to perfection, using various mathematical quantifiers as well as engineering perspective, to do so.Is there something you like about 1.5.2?
