First about the infernal furnace can you put pulverized dust and chance to double that? Secondly can you pull items out of a hungry chest with transport pipes or a filter with pneumatic pipes or something?

Also why do I see people with four crucibles? If so can one tallow golden take care of all four?

So it takes dust but doesn't double. You can pull out of hungry chest. Pointless having multiple crucibles. Need multiple golem.

1. No, imagine the exploitative nature if such thing where true.
2. Yes, I've seen it done. Not sure why yo haven't tried it already.
3. No idea, ask them. Maybe they find having a lot of crucibles handy.
4. No idea, try it and see.

Not going to ward my sorting...but what is the best way of utilizing an infernal furnace? Gold ore to it? Is three bellows 100% double the ignot plus high chance for nugget?

Minmaxing your basic ore output with Factorization by doing the final smelting step with an infernal furnace with three bellows, which is hard to set up and mostly pointless.

It will also eat the native clusters you get if you choose to mine with the Pickaxe of the Core.

Thaumcraft is a great well-balanced mod but it isn't balanced to be part of a modpack. It all makes more sense alongside vanilla than it does alongside GregTech and quarries.

To my understanding, the infernal furnace is somewhat pointless compared to the ore-increasers offered by other mods. For starters, it generates flux, so using it for any sort of large-scale production is "asking for it".

3. There are two reasons for this

A) Being able to make larger stacks of items at once. trying to make 64 nitor for example will probably overflow one cauldren. By spliting the essence types between the cauldrens you can handle larger batches.
b) Being able to better handle flux. Multiple crucibles lets you split the essense types between more pots and thus more of the containers. This means you can have more /types/ of overflow. This means you can use things with a lot of symbols without flux.

As for using the furnace, if you use the arcane bore, you'll have clusters you'll want to put through it for bonus nuggets.

Sorry, but I'm going to have to beg you to tell me this again, with more detail.

I've read you can hit 350% yield on common ores. Factorization has a really complicated and tedious way to get 3x ingots from 1x ores. Doing the last step with an infernal furnace gives you even more ingots than just Factorization.

Most people find it more convenient to use GregTech's industrial grinder for everything and smelt the ore dusts. You get lots of nice secondary outputs (glowstone dust from redstone ore, copper and tin from iron ore etc) and the yield is always decent.
