I find frequently that for one reason or another that when I install or update a mod pack I will completely download the modpack, but then something will go wrong, for instance minecraft.jar will fail to download. This means I have to go about re-downloading the modpack data all over again, even though I already have it, and that whatever issue I had on the previous attempt(s) resolves itself the next time I try to install. This takes FTB's bandwidth and is the cause of a bit of frustration.
I suggest to resolve this that the FTB launcher check for the download/incomplete install of a modpack when a install/update of a pack starts, probably best with a hash check, and start from where possible. This method would save FTB bandwidth, which as I have heard from slowpoke on his stream is HUGE, and would make the launcher a bit friendlier.
