Suddenly can't use my 4 ram anymore

Lately i've been experiencing lag in Mindcrack so i went here to the forums and found a thread where one of the answers were that to fix lag i would have to lower Mindcracks Ram usage. I thought my launcher was set to use 3 rams because that was what i set it for, but it was only set at 1 ram our of a possible 1.
I can't use more than one ram and i'm 100% positively sure that my computer contains 4 ram.
So i want someone to answer me what is wrong and how do i fix it?

you need 64 but java to use more than one gig of ram, is your operating system 32 or 64 bit???

then may I suggest you uninstall all traces of java and re download and install 64bit java, it's paste a link but my phone it's being a tard
