Subcategories for each modpack in the forums.

OK, we have a category "news" for each modpack, a "bug report" category for each modpack.

Why on earth do we not have a general discussion category for each Modpack?

This has baffled me for quite sometime.

We have a "general discussion" for all FTB modpacks grouped together but why not for each individual modpack.

For instance, looking for magic farm stuff, I have to wade through 100 other posts before finding anything related to magic farm 2.

A lot of times there is a single thread related to a modpack... hundreds of pages long filled with people quoting each other etc... using the search tools you can hope to find info you are looking for but it is always an epic undertaking.

All the effort that goes into creating these modpacks... I do not understand this incredibly inefficient forum layout for FTB. We create efficient power generation, farms etc...

This Forum Layout is anything but efficient.

Am I crazy here? Am I missing something or is my reasoning sound?

Maybe I am doing it wrong, but OMG anytime I try to find info about something in a modpack, compatablity between mods etc. I am met with a completely frustrating experience.

Please do not be offended by my post whoever would be offended, I just gotta ask... why?

I'd say that it's because a lot of the threads on here are general (applicable to most packs). There are some niche packs which are a little different, but most of the threads relate to most of the packs.

There's also the problem of userbase segregation. If people only talk to people using the same packs, then you don't have a single community, you have lots of different splintered ones.

I dunno, I kind of like the idea of chatting specifically with my horizons companions, and ignoring those Monster scum.
