On ftb monster i get this small stutter every once in a while and its annoying

i use java 7 51 64 bit

fx 8120
2x 7870 cfx
8gb ram 1600 Mhz

How much RAM do you have allocated? Try between 2-5GB, this will require x64 version of Java. Provided the link just in case you think you do, but have 32bit. I've seen that happen way too often not to provide it just in case. Also try adding these arguments.

Ensure that you do not have any Global Arguments that are limiting it to say 512M. Check here for the instructions for windows 7 to check. Windows 8, if you have it, should be in a similar place.
