Stuck on loading screen until i force out of minecraft when entering the betweenlands

If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

As the title says when I try to enter the betweenlands it freezes up my screen but I can steel hear my character perform actions if I do them like pressing W makes my character move even though my screen is frozen. I've tried fixing the issue by googling what might cause it but no luck would really appreciate some help.
