Stuck at 20-23fps

Hi, My name is Maurice. I have just downloaded the direwolf20 1.5.1 pack, my fps seems to be locked at 20fps, it stays about there. I put the game to tiny render distance and it's 20fps put it to far and its to 20. Change setting, install optifine, still 20fps

I have 2GB of ram allocated, it used to be 8GB. Stayed the same fps...
I have a high-end gaming computer and it shouldn't be running at this low FPS... it dosent change so i think its locked at 20FPS!

Any resolutions? much appreciated... Maurice.
