Stronghold shield? (twilight forest)

Hello, I am new here on the forums. so I apologize if this is not the proper location for this thread or if this sorta thread already exists.

I did some researching today dealing with the new trophy pedestals, researching those lead me to realizing how to get the Knightly ingots, and the new twilight mobs. Somewhere I read it stated that edge of darkwood biome's may spawn them.

I did some flying around and found some knights on the map, under a darkroom biome.
They are encased in Stronghold shields. which appear to be unbreakable.

I made this post wondering if the shields are there because it is still a WIP? or is there something i need to find/do in order to get past said "Stronghold shield" ?

Thanks for reading, hope someone can fill me in.

The shields are there to keep people from just digging straight to the boss room and nabbing all the fat loots. :p

They're one-way, so there's nothing stopping you from digging your way out. Definitely a lot nicer than the bedrock box around labyrinths.

OMG this is the most amazing thing i've ever seen.

so basically i walked around some mossy stone/stone brick hallways with cobble walls until I find a TROPHY PEDISTAL!

I put my naga trophy on and boom the door opens! i search and search.
Kill the boss
"knight phantom WIP" and many knights. i continue searching to find a double helmet crab spawner! :D Going to make a grinder out of them!
