I've encountered a strange problem: Somehow the FTB Launcher stole the profile and install folder location from my roommate's computer the first time I launched it, account information and all. I'm honestly at a loss of how this could have happened, seeing as this was the first time I've ever launched FTB and my roommate has never used his Minecraft account on my computer. Both computers are hooked up to the same router, but other than that are unconnected. I haven't been able to figure out of this is reproducible because FTB appears to have files installed somewhere I don't know where to find it, as it still has my account information if I delete the launcher and the install folder.

The folders you need to delete for a completely new install are %appdata%/ftblauncher and your install folder.

Besides that, did you copy anything from your roommate's computer when launching FTB the first time? Because of the security features of computers, it's pretty much impossible for this to be done over the network without intentional sharing, and I don't believe that's something in the code anyway. It must have been copied over sometime, or your friend must have launched FTB at some point on your computer.

We figured out what it was: My roommate installed FTB on my computer months ago and forgot about it. Sorry for the false alarm!

Thank god, this would have been one hell of a security risk. Glad you got it figured out.
