Strange Chunk Error

Details of the issue:
These strange errors keep popping up all over my server. http://imgur.com/DLK3ybF Sometimes they go away when I log off, sometimes they don't. They seem to pop up around where I first login, but no where else. Other people see them too, but only the ones that stay after I log off, or the ones created when they themselves login.​

Are they ghost blocks? Because sometimes I get these in single player, except they are real blocks. I think this is caused by some item ID conflict, which I find triggered by Biomes O' Plenty. Someone explained it better on reddit, but I can't find the thread..
