Strange Behavior with New launcher

I just updated to the new FTB launcher and fired up my existing DW20 1.0.25 world, and I'm seeing some strange behavior.

Most notably, I find that now I can only mine with an appropriate tool.. e.g. I can't break bricks with my fist, only with a pick, I can only dig dirt with a Pick or shovel, etc. also, my factorization barrels won't let me click to get a stack back.

Anyone else experienced anything like this?

That sounds like you're in adventure mode or something try to open to LAN enable cheats and do. /gamemode 0 and see if that helps

And that, boys and girls, is why I _always_ turn on cheats when I create a world... Modded minecraft is always doing something weird

speaking of new launcher... i haven't seen any updates in a few weeks... is FTB going to Curse or something like that? A "Curse launcher"? Isn't that what I read?

Since i updated the launcher this morning, with any pack i play the screen resolution is in fullscreen mode even thought the actual game is in windowed mode, anyone know how to fix this?

nvm went back to the older launcher

Options, start in windows mode, start full screen, or press f11 to switch while in game.

tried switching between modes, it does nothing apart from go to full screen mode or have start bar, the game picture itself stays like its in fullscreen

Guys i was wondering if anyone could help me as I'm also having issues. Since the new launcher update, the top half of the screen when i launch the game is cut off meaning i can't see half the items in NEI or change modes such as utility to cheat for example. I will try and upload a picture to explain whats happening better
