Stopping certain ores from spawning

Hello! I'm currently in the process of creating my own mod pack. There are several different tech mods involved and many have the same type of ores and ingots(such as copper). I'm looking to disable, or stop the generation of lets say Tinkers Construct copper while allow Thermal Expansion copper to generate. I've yet to find a method of doing this, so any help is appreciated.

There is also a mod called custom ore gen if CoFH gets a bit out of hand.
