Stonecraft 2 random reward

Anyone else feel Stonecraft 2 random reward is a bit...game breaking?

first one I got was a cobblestone generator.. second reward was birthday pickaxe... pretty much makes all tinkerers useless. I suppose I could just trash items that ruin the flow.. but seems a bit dumb to have a feature like that. I have yet to receive a reward that makes sense with the stage of the game I'm in.

The point of Stoneblock, besides skyblock in a cave, is Avaritia. When you look at the insane end game grind, the cobblestone generator you earned as a reward becomes meaningless.
