stolen presents?

Last night my husband and I were playing on a new world with magic world. Killed some mobs and got 'stolen present'.
Is this a new vanilla item? What do we do with them?

I believe it's steve's carts 2 and there is a santa in some villages
Don't quote me on this it's only from what i have heard so far about it.

At first glance, I thought they snuck ChristmasCraft in.

Is there a "best place" to find one of these santas? If I go North will I find one? Cause that would be awesome

You should be able to craft the warm.. or ... insulated.. hat or something, and give it to one of the villagers. Other than that, no, they appear randomly when a village is generated.

I've had a few pop up after some villagers decided to have little ones.
