I have been trying to figure this out for weeks. I have a few posts and a thread open in Reddit, as well as a couple others. I really need to get this figured out cause I based my personal mod pack off of Revelations and now, 200+ hours in, its time to get this community to help me 
Fresh Download of Revelations from the curse/twitch install app, create world(Doesnt matter what type same results) go find a hive, smack it, jump on it and no stinging. They swarm like crazy but no stinging. Rinse and repeat looking for another hive. I have checked the configs and cant find anything that would be stopping them from stinging. I really need someone to download Revelations and verify this issue..... PLEASE, cause I am kinda goin nuts, this chair and computer are all I have for the "Mental Therapy" deal.
