StneBlock crashing today

  • Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Details of the issue All working fine until today. Crashed several times today, the last time when I was doing nothing, while I was on the phone (for 30 mins). Rebooted the PC, no change.

Desktop PC, Win10 fully updated, 24Gb RAM, 6Gb allocated to MC, modpack installed on a 225Gb SSD with more than half the space free.

Saw that where 1.0.16 Beta is now Release, so updated to that. Now the game crashes immediately upon entering the play screen, whereas before it at least let me play for a few minutes before crashing. This series of crashes started after I'd placed some Industrial Foregoing machines (Tree Fluid Extractors). I'm willing to kill them, or go back to an earlier backup, if that's likely to solve the problem?

Edit: Rebooted PC, and this time it let me play for about 10 minutes before crashing. Seems totally random, and not under reproducible circumstances.

Removing all the Industrial Foregoing blocks has resolved the issue.

Is there a problem with IF?

Alter: Rebooted PC, and this time it let me play for around 10 minutes before slamming. Appears to be absolutely irregular, and not under reproducible conditions.

Turns out it wasn't IF after all - apologies to the mod author. It was ExUtils2's wireless power transmission. I'd put down a wireless rf transmitter when I set up the IF latex system, and my problems occurred shortly after that - so i thought it was IF's machines. I've used EU2's wireless rf stuff many times before with no problems, but a very tech savvy mate looked under the hood and told me what was going on. When I killed the wireless transmission, all the problems went away.
