Still unable to use any 1.6 modpacks

Beating my head on the wall here.

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/google/common/collect/Lists


I'm quite sure, that's the issue. I've looked everywhere I can for help, google search gives me things, but I end up scratching my head because I don't have a clue what it's saying in order to fix it... I think that's what it says at lease...

Needless to say, I don't understand how to go about attempting to fix things. If someone has an idea, I would take anything at this point.

Yeah same I've also been unable to load any of the 1.6 packs it just stops responding however if I leave it, it eventually gets to the main menu but I can't join servers or create single player worlds it just crashes

Yes, I have done it twice. It still ends up having that same issue, and it just sits there doing nothing afterwards.

Try removing java and installing it again. You could also try a force update of the pack. Go to options and click force update then launch the pack you want to play.
