Im fairly new to Minecraft so please forgive any ignorance.

I recently started playing FTB...LOVE IT!

I have a Rubber Tree Farm now that works awesome, the only problem is that no sticky resin drops...only the wood.

I really could use the resin for Sticky Pistons. I think this should be fixed because if i manually farm the same trees I get sticky resin when i chop them down...just not when i use the multiblock farm setup.

I believe you have to use an orchard to have it extract the resin. Otherwise it'll just chop down the trees and give you the wood for you to extract into rubber.

Sweet ! If you stack the sticky resin trees next to each other by growing one, hacking down the leaves, and then planting the next one beside it, you can create a wall/block of tree trunks and be swimming in sticky resin, even for the smallest-sized 3x3x4 MultiFarm. As you have noticed already, the Managed Rubber Farm does not chop the trees down, but simply 'taps' them automatically for their resin. And, it doesn't need a gap between tree trunks to tap them.
