Please forgive the long post. I think the details are gonna matter on this as I am new to using the mod.
So i want to automate botania livingwood/rock through the ME autocrafting interface (on a chest for the input) to be placed (forget the mod, open blocks or extra utilities) on ME anni planes to go right in on a redstone signal/ME toggle bus after the stuff becomes "ALIVE!!! HAHAHA!!!".......anyway.... made 2 emitters as well as 2 block updaters (I know i could use one, but that was after i made it lol) and basically the logic that i have goes like this.
I have a trigger to pull 8 from the chest and put one into each placer, then a redstone signal to "place" the blocks on the planes around the daisy. Then when the updaters see the living, it turns on the other emitter at the toggle bus and turns off the placer emitter.
Here's my problem.
I'm trying to have the placer emitter "off" until wood/stone go into the chest, then move them into the placers, hit a signal on the placer emitter, then place them on the plane, hit the signal when the living is there, then turn off again. so in order to have the items from the chest get placed onto the planes, the emitter can't stay on, it has to cycle, so it can place the next round onto the planes. When I put a stack in the chest, It cycles through the whole stack, but when I add another stack, it doesn't cycle. So I made another trigger for that lol and the fighting begins.
Am I being clear as to what I'm trying to do? lol, maybe I'm over complicating this idk.
so long story short, I made multiple (6) triggers to handle this, using the "Do Emit Pulse" option with various time intervals, as well as changing the trigger interval time. Trigger to turn on the pulse, Trigger to turn off the pulse/ signal... Now I'm having a trigger fight lmao.
I was thinking about doing something like a redstone timer from some other mod, but I wanted to see If I was missing something with SFM first.
Again this is the first time I've used the mod, seen lots of videos as well as read a bunch on it. I have to learn by being thrown into the fire, beat my head against the wall until I understand it lol.
On a side note: Is there a way to turn triggers on or off? Like after this thing happens hit this trigger? Like once maybe lol? idk
