Can i store boiler steam in tanks, either railcraft or buildcraft. If so, how muhc does a buildcraft tank hold?

you can store steam in tanks since its treated as a buildcraft liquid and i suspect it should hold the same amount of steam as it would any other "liquid"

You can store it in railcraft tanks for sure, haven't tested buildcraft. Buildcraft tanks hold a mere 16 buckets of liquid last I checked. For storing it, it's rather pointless as unless you're using liquiducts you can't pipe enough steam out of the tanks without a lot of excess infrastructure. Rather than storing the steam, I would use that steam to produce MJ and store any excess MJ into Redstone Energy Cells, which can be moved around after being filled and used in place of engines.
